Wedgewood Community Center
This project consisted of the construction of a 13,200 square foot community center and a 3,700 square foot pavilion, along with associated parking and infrastructure. The Community Center was located on nearly five acres, of a vacant portion of the Wedgewood Middle School property. Fabre Engineering & Surveying’s role in this project included public involvement meetings, design, and permitting with Escambia, ECUA, and the Water Management District, as well as bidding assistance and limited construction monitoring. The project was designed and constructed to meet the requirements of the Green Globe Environmental Design and received three Globes.
