Pensacola Regional Airport Relocation of General Aviation, Pensacola, FL
Fabre Engineering & Surveying, as a sub-consultant to DMJM, Inc., provided surveying, engineering, contract document preparation, permitting, and contract administration services for the landside and airside projects. The project consisted of engineering the relocation of general aviation facilities to a new location at the airport, including a master plan of new facilities, design of a new access road and security features, new parking facilities, building pad development for general aviation aircraft ramp, taxiways, T-hangar ramps, water service, and wastewater service. Fabre Engineering & Surveying was responsible for the complete design and contract document preparation for the landside project, including entrance road design, drainage design, parking layout, water service, and wastewater service design. Fabre Engineering was also responsible for the overall stormwater system design for airside and landside projects. This project included innovative stormwater detention design that utilized existing facilities to avoid construction across existing runways. Fabre Engineering provided a full-time inspector and engineering staff for project inspection and contract administration during the construction phase. Fabre Engineering was responsible for all utility and stormwater permitting, including NPDES site construction plans and permitting. Estimated Cost: $7,000,000.00.
