Perdido Key Island Resort
The development included the construction of a total of 266 units in 6 buildings with a total of approximately 781,343 gross square feet along with all required driveways, parking, sidewalks, landscaping, lighting, signage, stormwater treatment pond, utilities, and other required site improvements.
Primary access provided by existing and proposed driveway connections to Perdido Key Drive. Stormwater runoff will be channeled through stormwater treatment pond(s) and treatment is provided for the first 1” of rainfall as required by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) and Escambia County.
The project required a driveway connection permit from the FDOT and also required a stormwater permit from FDEP. The site contained jurisdictional areas which required permits from FDEP, Escambia County and the United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACOE) for impacts to these areas.
