Fort Pickens Beach Pedestrian Pier

Fort Pickens Survey with COE Diver

Fabre Engineering & Surveying worked with Army Corps of Engineers (COE) to perform a controlled topographic survey at Fort Pickens Beach.  The control points were set for the piles to accommodate the building of a pedestrian pier. The survey was controlled because artifacts had been discovered close to the proposed construction site.  Fabre Engineering & Surveying used Global Positioning System (GPS) and Total Station to compile the points with divers provided.
