Chaseville Area Drainage Improvement Projects
The Chaseville Area Improvements Phase I consisted of the construction of a drainage system, within an existing residential/light industrial area, to alleviate existing flooding problems. This project also included the use of an existing, abandoned railroad right-of-way as a site for a stormwater retention pond. This site was identified by the design team, and its use precluded the need for the County to purchase a pond site as anticipated in the County’s conceptual plan.
