Bratt-Davisville Water System, Inc. 2001 Water System Improvements
This project was split into three separate contracts.
Contract I consisted of a 500 GPM well (sand and gavel) and new block well house and miscellaneous well house rehabilitations at the three existing well sites. Rehabilitation included new roofs, equipment upgrades, painting and general cosmetic repairs.
Contract II consisted of the erection of a 200,000 gallon elevated water tank at the new well site.
Contract III consisted of the installation of approximately 25,000 LF of 6” waterline including fire hydrants and associated appurtenances throughout the BDWS franchise area. The scope of services included engineering design, contract administration, construction plans and specifications, contract documents, permitting with FDEP, FDOT and SWFWMD, bid/award services, opinion of probable cost, surveying and construction inspection. All phases were completed in 2004.
