Fabre Engineering & Surveying
Fabre Engineering & Surveying performed boundary, topographic, and as-built surveys for the cemetery expansion north of Taylor Road. The scope of services for the project was to perform a complete boundary, control survey, topographic survey, and construction layout for 6,400 crypts, individual burial sections and paving areas. As Built surveys were provided for water lines, the irrigation system and building foundations. The purpose of the boundary and topographic survey was for Phase I construction and for future planning for the cemetery. Construction Cost: $10.5 million.
Our previous engineering and surveying services at Barrancas include:
*A boundary and topographic survey of the entire cemetery in 1999 with all man made and natural features located.
* An as built survey of the Columbarium Complex was completed in 2002.
* A boundary and topographic survey of the cemetery expansion was completed in 2004.
* Engineering services for parking lot drainage improvements on the main cemetery.
All surveys were performed using state of the art GPS and Total Station equipment and software with ACAD Civil 3D. All surveys were completed using State Plane Coordinates, Florida North Zone, NAD 83 and the North American Vertical Datum of 1988 (NAVD 88).
Fabre Engineering & Surveying was selected in December 2017 to provide an ALTA survey for the next expansion at the cemetery north of Taylor Road.
