Fabre Engineering & Surveying
This marina located on Santa Rosa Sound on State Road 99 in Gulf Breeze, Florida, was severely damaged from Hurricane Opal. Fabre Engineering & Surveying provided all surveying, design, and permitting to rebuild, reconfigure, and expand the storm-damaged marina. The project included design and permitting of an 80-foot seawall extension, the addition of four boat slips and replacement of existing piling. The addition of the boat slips added protection for the fuel stations and sewage pump-out station while gaining additional slips. At a later point Fabre Engineering & Surveying was responsible for the design and construction phases of the boardwalk between the storage facility and the piers.
Surveying services provided by Fabre Engineering & Surveying included boundary and hydrographic surveys, and location of docks, bulkheads, and the jetty. The project included easement descriptions and preparation of condominium documents for the Dry Storage Facility recording. In addition, submerged land lease survey and description was completed for this site.
